Separately, Amtrak has ceased using "Avelia Liberty" referring to the new trainsets. It's now exclusively "NextGen Acela." I understand that their research showed "Acela" was a well-understood brand, and they changed their mind on a rebrand to a new name for the trainsets and service.
Probably an eventual project by the State of Massachusetts and Amtrak, to add additional track between Wickford Junction and through South Station.
