Photography has gone so far and so fast.

For a couple decades I'd upgrade my compact camera and DLSR every year and every two or three years and I could see measurable image as well as performance / ease of use.
Then came the iPhone and that was that. Now I upgrade my iPhone every couple years but that motivation is slowing.

The iPhone is all I need for 99% of my shots now, for sports/action the big rig still has its usage and for the most beautiful portraits there is still no replacement for a 200F2 and 32Meg FX, LOL, but how often do we shoot that these day?

Even now on a trip I usually leave my V3 behind, just not worth the overhead.

My Three Amigo's when I shot a lot of Ballet, Swimming, Track&Field , Events and a few Portraits now and then

Don't miss lugging this versus just my iPhone now

Mostly gathering dust in my drawer these days. I can see someday some kid not born wondering WTH is this going to an Estate Sale, LOL
