(I would more or less agree with you if it were not for the MM/MM+ issues. The gift cards were too good to be true, I fully expected these to disappear.)
MM/MM+ is out of reach for us given how wide the dispersion of our lifetime air travel as been and our remaining number of heavy travel years. Had it all have been with AC, I would be at least 2MM and my wife would be at least 1 MM.
We are in the $160,000 each range with credit card spend (soon to be capped at $125,000 on our AP cards) so nowhere near enough to get the $2,000 and $4,000 gift cards.
