Really? I easily don’t consider Gold worth a 20K outlay on BA but in all honesty don’t even think GGL is worth it either. Yes, the CCR is nice but with that kind of cash outlay you’re most likely already there with an F ticket, so the status is academic.
There must be ways of flying and crediting BA based on distance and not spend, aren’t there? Aren’t travel agent tickets like this sometimes?
