Yes, things happen when you’re traveling, but you would expect Chase travel to help you out. After the fact they say they can’t get a hold of the hotel and that’s all they can do
this is a problem with booking 3rd party; everyone will push blame. it will go in circles; hotels will say you have to go through chase and chase will say there is little they can do, so nothing ever gets resolve
i think you can try giving chase a firm push by telling them that you obviously didnt get what you paid for, and it is not fair to you. you have also put a lot of time and effort to resolve this issue with both the hotel and chase travel, and you dont really want to do this, but if it cannot be resolve in a satisfactory manner, then you may consider a chargeback
