I'm surprised to read this comment. We've stayed at Mandarin Oriental Bangkok many times over the years, and it has consistently been one of the few hotels that seem to get things right every time. We're not particularly high maintenance, though. To me it’s more about the style, attention to detail, and the way the staff anticipates your needs.
