I have a Y-fare flight, so it earns a chunk of award/status miles already. Can't bid for an upgrade since it's a non-LH ticket.

I can confirm an upgrade at a fair price, but if it books into P when crediting to a *A FFP, I won't go for it (wouldn't have cared much if it was a V, S, etc. fare). Although, if a retroclaim for the original Y fare works, then that'll be fine with me. The flight's currently selling P fares for Business.
