We don’t mind being in Shinjuku since we’re used to the grit of nyc and will be going out at night a decent amount. These are all already a bit of a splurge so Capitol hotel is probably a no. We’re leaning Bellustar but it doesn’t seem to have the greatest reputation here?

This is the luxury hotel forum. Not speaking officially as moderator here, but I've been to Tokyo maybe 50 times and I wouldn't regard any of those as luxury hotels.
