Apparently you're living in a different world

I don't deny that good value hot spots exist for redemptions, but they are FAR from what they used to be. Maybe I'm just getting old and cranky, but my days of scouring Aeroplan for a good redemption deal are wayyyy behind me. I just pay for what I where to go, in J or F. I don't care how much it costs me. I'm so tired of playing the points game but all the power to those that still do.

I genuinely wonder if AC is after my wallet share. I'm not even sure at this point because I am almost completely airline agnostic at this point. I have little desire to play their stupid little marketing game which makes middle aged men feel important. It's so childish.
