Booked a trip a few months back and applied RUC's to the trip via the online chat portal. Fast forward to about 3-ish weeks ago and called to make sure everything was good to go and applied correctly (for whatever reason just had this feeling to check). Agent on the phone said the RUC's were not applied correctly and she worked her magic and said they were now good. Fast forward again to today and I check in for the flights and I notice Mrs. OPS is not showing DM status (she's my travelling companion, has a SM #, linked to my account, etc.; I've never had an issue with this before) and she's also not showing on the upgrade list. Call in again and the agent says the RUC's were applied correctly but they don't know why Mrs. OPS isn't showing. In the end a supervisor had to "re issue the tickets" (agents words) and after 20 minutes Mrs. OPS is showing DM status and Zone 2 boarding and RUC's are applied to both of us. Oh and they didn't know what caused the problem in the first place.
So now it looks like everything is good. However, something still just seems off about this whole thing. Anyone think I have a reason to think the RUC's were never applied correctly? Or were they and is this just DL dumb IT at its finest? And should I write in to DL to have them investigate? Thinking it's probably not worth it. Thoughts?
Side note: Just curious if the "Upgrade/Standby" lists before the 24 hour check in time are accurate? Up until this afternoon both flights were showing 8+ FC seats available. Now there's only 1 for each flight. I know we can't go off the seating chart because that's not accurate so I'm wondering if the upgrade list is the same. Again, this is before the 24 hour check in time.

You might possibly have gotten the upgrades and the RUCs could still be in your wallet for reuse. This happened to me last year. They were never closed after reticketing.
