it won’t be the same (worse to much worse) for anyone who will spend the same or a similar amount as this year and isn’t way over for SQD now, and also people who get extra mileage (so to speak) out of the pattern they qualify for status in, or anyone that was planning on spending less (gasp!), not even necessarily to take advantage of how status currently works. Not that this is a problem per se, but that’s a lot of people for which it’ll be markedly different.
