OK. As a datat point, I had to call into the EXP line last Sunday owing to the fact that AA.com was throwing "400" error codes at me. It recognized me but the wait time was about 20 - 22 minutes to reach a live body. The agent was indeed quite helpful, but it was a moderate wait.
