The poor lady basically worked / ran her b..t off between galley and rows while another FA was lounging at 1L jump seat reading her book.
Are they doing shifts or something on longer flights?
In my experience, one of the other FAs sometimes helps with initial drink orders, but after that everything is left to the one FA. I've occasionally seen other FAs help with tray pick-up, but that seems to be out of wanting to help their colleague as opposed to an actual procedure.
