there is no path in BKK through outbound immigration into the domestic departure area...
I guess he need to go through immigration in HKT...
The only thing I can think of is maybe I’d be taken to a seperate intl area and then bussed to the domestic PG gate? But that seems quite far fetched for what I’m guessing would be a single pax.

They do, along with a codeshare and a FF earning agreement. I’m not too worried about that aspect as QR internlines and codeshares with PG on a plethora of domestic flights ex-BKK
