Does the exclusion of tax & insurance go into effect on Sept 15 or on any statement ending Sept 15th or later? My statement closes Sept 25th. If I make federal estimated tax payment and my property tax payment (which combined are substantially above $10k) in early Sept (before the 15th), will I get 4% on them? I am currently getting 4% on everything due to my brokerage account.

The letter from US Bank isn't clear and I of course want the full 4% and don't want to pay now before my August statement closes on August 25th. I'd call US Bank, but my experience is that their support doesn't understand the Smartly Visa and often gives me incorrect information. And the people in my local branch are even less knowledgable than the phone support.
