Service is variable. The menu has English so if one is not functional in the native language, and the waitstaff is not functional in English, one can always point to the items requested. The front desk staff is typically fluent in English, and if I were to have an issue where I was having a communications issue in an establishment where someone spoke a common language proficiently, I'd ask for that person to assist. You know, kind of like being on Fromanothercountrywhereenglishisrarelyspoken Airlines and seeking out a person with a UK/US flag pin for assistance.
This would have been all good if they explained this at the front desk. But they didn't. I ended up with a menu with prices on it, and a server that spoke no English, so I got a Club Soda, checked emails, and left. Thanks for explaining what they didn't, I'll try again next time.
notwithstanding the fact that this airport is a disgusting disgrace. But that's a /PR matter.
Understatement.
