Seems there are
some developments at the project site now that it's moved to a new owner/developer:
- The site has been reprogrammed, so certain elements will be removed and reconfigured with some demolition works having already begun
- The main, front-facing building will incorporate retail on the first three floors and apartments from floors two to eight
- Of relevance to us: "The planned hotel in the rear part of the building and the publicly accessible roof terrace remain part of the usage concept" with a "220-room hotel will be located in the rear part of the building."
- Project completion is now earmarked for late 2027 or early 2028.
Hyatt still has Thompson Vienna listed on its
pipeline list [it was initially [url=https://newsroom.hyatt.com/news-releases?item=124234vvvvv]announced as having 148 rooms, so the new configuration has us looking at a larger property], so I hope this one makes it through.
