This is becoming ridiculous. I called again and they said they won’t refund but I can pick new seats for free (not really for free, since I have already paid)
Yesterday selected 8A and 8C (this is on the A220 with only 2 seats in the left side).
today I login and check the seats, we are now in 9E (middle) and 9F (window), and 8A and 8C are now unavailable, and no rows with both seats free on this side for the front half of the plane
Also it can’t be a coincidence that the email they send to confirm your seat selection does not include the seat number… so there is no proof unless you screenshot or happen to remember what you chose.
