Still, we never have to wait to get into the United Club whereas the Sapphire Lounge can have a lengthy wait.
For me it depends on the time of day on the flight. I fly SAN-TPA a lot and now it’s an afternoon flight so I’ll arrive a little earlier and have my ride drop me off at United and go to the Sapphire lounge for lunch. I have the reserve card so I never have to wait more than a couple of minutes before they contact me. If it’s a morning flight, I might hit the Aspire lounge if I have time.
