Thanks, all. Looks like this is a tough ask. I could also fly to CDG instead, as I was planning to spend part of my trip in France, but that may restrict me to just JL or perhaps a connection somewhere, perhaps via HEL, but I’ve never seen Finnair award space appear (via AA, at least). If it was just me, I’d happily transfer at DOH, but my family is quite disinclined to transfer anywhere.

I believe I have the option to transfer capital one miles to Flying Blue and can give Air France or KLM a go, but my experience with them is very limited and I would also lose the benefit of OW status.

If anyone has any other suggestions, I’d be happy to take them; otherwise I’ll call AA and ask what, if anything, they can do for me,
