Question Advice needed - Keeping Platinum to get to PFL now that I am in US?

Hi there,
I need an opinion and advice of more advanced milage travelers.

Some key facts first:
  • I have had FlyingBlue Platinum "since 7 Years"
  • Currently on 107XP.
  • My counter offsets on 30/11/2025.
  • AMEX Bonus (60XP) expected around 09/09/2025
  • Gathered through mostly intra-European travel in economy (work and pleasure)
I moved to Southern California last year, which has put a hold on my travels. I still have ties to AMS (still have a business and friends there) and KRK airports (family).
I have some trips planned for this year (Mazatlan, Mexico City) and Australia in December (no flights booked yet), and I consider flying to Europe maybe once or twice (now that I received a Green Card). I am currently on the lookout for a new job that might mean some travel.

I am debating if there is any sense of trying to keep getting Plat for the coming 2.5 years only to qualify for Plat for Life or should I scrap that idea? If the answer is to do it, what would you recommend would be the most efficient way to requalify for this year, with somehow limited time left?
