renovations?

With it being an older hotel I’m sure there are different suite sizes / configurations so perhaps other suites have bigger bathrooms. Would explain the lack of photos on the website!
They seem to have abandoned the “globalist” menu for breakfast. I asked when I was seated if they still had a globalist breakfast menu and the server said I could order any entree dish and a drip coffee.
Overall we like the hotel. The lobby bar has a good buzz to it and Scarpetta is a solid option on site. The rooms are showing some sign of wear and tear and could do with a refurb.
I know views vary on the topic but I would prefer this to the Andaz. I just find the room configurations there to be weird and the lobby to be soulless. This has more of a NYC hotel vibe with people bustling around. Good use of SUA too for the space you get.
There has been much talk about renovations needed at this property. To that end are there any datapoints that you can provide on that topic?
