Did a deep dive (I think) on the United site, but couldn’t find clarity on this questions:

if I book a flight for June 2026 for $1500 and then cannot use it, how does the “credit” work?

do I have to book a new flight at the time of cancellation?
can the credit be spread over multiple flights?
is there an expiration date on that credit?
