The heading is outright wrong. The "Engines" (plural) didn't fail. One of them did.

The "Engines" failing on take-off on a twin-engine jet is indeed a problem (ala Air India). ONE engine failing is almost always a routine, if annoying, event.

Presuming this headline came from nypost.com, it's since been corrected to "engine" without the "s" on the end.
