I’m trying to clarify the flight requirement for the tier upgrade upon graduation.

The T&Cs say:
"you have flown at least one (1) round-trip journey or two (2) one-way journeys on Qatar Airways’ operated and marketed flights per year from enrolment date to the Student Club."
To me, this sounds like the requirement is based on a rolling 12-month period from your enrolment date (i.e., membership year). For example, if I enrolled on 11 Nov 2024, I would need to complete the flight(s) by 11 Nov 2025.

However, a QR agent told me that it is actually based on the calendar year instead.

Has anyone had experience with this? Is the flight requirement measured by calendar year (Jan–Dec) or membership year (e.g., 11 Nov 2024 to 11 Nov 2025)?

Would appreciate any insights or official clarification from those who’ve successfully received the upgrade.
