I (JGC member on a J ticket) checked in at HND T3 last week for the first time in almost a year. I'm sure some of you know this already, but I am very sad to report that JL has joined the trend of pushing premium pax to use kiosks. There was a big row of kiosks in front of the J and JGC counters, and the line gatekeeper was encouraging everyone to use them. I then asked her where we were supposed to drop our bags, and she pointed to the big line at the counter. (The bag drop portion of the counter had a much longer line than the regular counter.) So I just kind of laughed and said to her, "So we have to line up anyway," and I just skipped the kiosks and went to the regular check-in lane.

Of note is that the lines at the JGC and J counters (regular check-in and bag drop lanes) were longer than I've ever seen them at HND T3. So now, in addition to being pressured to use kiosks, we have to deal with longer lines.

Up until now, my experience with JL was that they always had the quickest check-in at the premium counters, with friendly agents who never pushed you toward kiosks. Sadly, those days are over.
