I prefer CGK, at least T3. Depending on the airline domestic is also at T3. DPS is ok but departure can be a zoo with hungover tourists. Of course, I prefer DPS since I’m arriving on holiday!

But both Jakarta and Bali are very safe, maybe just pre book airport transfers to reduce the stress. DPS has a Klook lounge where you can wait if you book a transfer with them.
