I for one would take the under as I think it's highly unlikely.
This isn't Europe where strikes seem to happen every 15 minutes for 15 minutes, seemingly as a normal course behaviour accepted in business and society. If there's a strike it's a STRIKE and they won't go back to work until there's a new Collective Agreement finalized.
I don't think there's a huge appetite amongst the FA rank and file to take a strike and what comes with that. If there were lots of Pilots living paycheck to paycheck who couldn't afford to go on strike imagine what that looks like for FA's.
I believe if they get meaningful improvements and anywhere close to what they are looking for then they will get enough support to ratify.
I so hope you are right, fingers crossed.
Is 8/16 the judgement day? If strike ISN'T declared ON 8/16, we can rest easy (for our flights on 8/24 and 8/26?)
