The travellators from the station to T2 were operating yesterday, although the Skylink was about 40 C so maybe they can only have them working if they don't simultaneously activate the air con 🤷‍♀️. The terminal and Escape lounge were similar temperatures. They closed the (meh) buffet and bar at 6pm. On the plus side it was very quiet for school holidays - there was no security queue at 5pm, (and none for the lounges either). Presumably all the Jet2 flights had departed earlier and we were between QR departures. I had to explain what OWE was at the lounge reception; I didn't say BA gold as feared that would send us all down the rabbit hole of BA not actually operating from T2 and being directed to T3 😂
IB flight landed at MAD one minute early which is also a new experience with the One World Alliance!
