It's finally started showing up on my res. And yeah, sometimes it really makes you wonder why they aren't clearing the PP-supported requests. I have one where I am "#1 of 9 or more," for example, coming up in just a couple of weeks. They must be expecting to aggressively push TODs if they're still holding back upgrade inventory on that one.

I have another (international) flight where I called in about a month and a half ago to inquire about some "stuck" segments from before a schedule change and to make sure the upgrade request was properly tracking. The agent at the time said, "You're #1, with 6 seats. Looks like a decent chance." Today, I am still #1 with 6 seats. Kind of surprised UA hasn't sold a single F seat or cash upgrade in the past six weeks, yet also aren't clearing waitlists at all despite that lack of sales. RM probably knows better than I do, and my guess is I will still sweat that one out; I'm expecting to see my spot drop to 3 or so in the last couple of days before the flight later this month, and go to the gate as #1 or #2 on the list for 1 or 2 seats left. (Which is also frustrating as the schedule change moved me off an easier-to-clear routing, but UA dropping the early IAD-IAH flight made it impossible to catch the onward flight from IAH.)
