If your looking for the Bali you remember look at Tandjung Sari in Sunar.

i was looking at Raffles, Bulgari and Amandari. I remember 32 years ago when we were young, Amankila was even a bit difficult to navigate. Amandari was ok If I remember correctly.

Fast forward to today. We are embarking on a cruise from Bali to Singapore in March 2026. We are now in our 70’s and my husband has some mobility issues. He uses a cane and can do stairs, but with a hand railing. We would like to stay a few days in Bali before we start the cruise. Some of the luxury resorts I have looked at are beautiful, but would be too challenging for him. I would like suggestions of some luxury resorts which he could manage. We have 4 days and are not partial to any area….i just want to make sure we can enjoy the resort and its amenities.
Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
Amandari in a single level suite will be fine as will Aman Villas at Nusa Dua
Amankila is alright if you are in certain suites , they can buggy you .. we always do to avoid the steps as much as possible .. AMANJunkie since the late ‘ 80s and a regular at Kila with “ mobility “ issues too
You may pm me , Ellyb102 , please do for details
Just returned from another stay at AVND and Kila
Also stayed at COMO UMA Canggu for the first time - we were fine in a residence villas corner suite , not AMAN service standard ( should eventually get there as has ex AMAN GM 😉 ) but has good spa
We like Soori too but the ex AMAN GM has left along with senior management , possibly the good chefs too , and we heard service standards have fallen
