I think I did something similar last year . Travelling for mum in laws funeral in Malaysia on Austrian from T2 HBO only . Checked In and sat in the lounge when it was announced flight cancelled . Went to airside help and got rebooked on MH from T4 . Took connections bus and then had to go through immigration in T4 to get to MH check in .
