Free bags on AS flight paid with HA credit card?
I read on Frequent Miler that the credit card free bag perk is now reciprocal between HA and AS. However, I wonder if there aren't some nuances to this. My son has the HA card and wants to book a SFO-EWR flight operated by AS. The cheapest fare is not showing on HA's website, so he'd like to book via the AS website, and use his HA credit card to pay for it. Will he get 2 free checked bags, as per the HA card's perk? Anyone have experience with this?
