It's definitely regarded as one of the better Kempinskis. In terms of benchmarking to the major chain hotels in Bali, the consensus I have read seems to be it's better than the Ritz-Carlton next door but not as good as the St. Regis.

If you're in Bangkok at some point, also check out Sindhorn Kempinski which has similar vibes and punches well above its weight.
