In order to get the Expedia.com fare you need to go to the fare rules section and look what inventory it is in (i.e. N, S, etc...). Then go to AA.com and put the same reservation on hold. Call the 800 number and ask the agent if there is any availability in the Expedia inventory and if so can they change it. You should be able to get the price which will be $5 less than Expedia.

I agree that the lowest fare guarantee is completely bogus. Someone should sue AA. Anyone get this so far?

Am I correct that to get DBL05 you just need to register and book my tickets on AA.com for March and April before midnight tomorrow?
