Apologies if this has been asked and answered before (I tried searching but couldn't find a clear answer), but I am traveling with my brother and his family in a couple of months and I want to gift them a GOH. The issue is that, because of points availability, they had to book two separate back-to-back reservations.

I know I can have him apply the GOH to the first reservation and then I can call in (either to MHC or the hotel) and ask to have the GOH applied to both reservations. But my understanding is that is not necessarily guaranteed, and I also don't mind having to use two GOHs because I don't have a clear use for them and I wouldn't mind the extra elite night.

So my question is—are there any data points on folks not getting multiple elite nights for multiple GOHs applied to back-to-back reservations?
