ANA Crowne Plaza Chitose

What is your Priority Club status?
Platinum

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked Standard Twin with points, became Premium Twin a few days after the reservation, and received the same.

How are the rooms?
- The premium rooms are in the Wing building, which are more recently renovated than the rooms in Tower building IIRC. However the room looked almost the same when I last stayed in 2019
- Window was not openable but air circulation was quite good - CO2 stayed around 1000ppm the next morning
- Plenty of wall outlets and USB outlets, and the room was very bright
- Spacious bathroom
- The room was very bright

How is the exec. lounge?
N/A

What was good and what was bad?
The good:
- Meaningful upgrades and most staff speak decent English
- Newishly renovated room with good AC and air circulation, although air purifier had to be requested
- Free parking

The bad:
- The all-day dining restaurant was 3.3+ on Tabelog so we decided to give the dinner (special beer garden menu) a try, and it was such a disappointment
- Only one drink voucher even with two platinum members staying two nights. This is probably by the book, but I don't recall another IHG property doing this

The ugly:
- Wi-Fi is not encrypted

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
We booked the hotel in points. Initially the points rate was around 10% cheaper than our corporate rate, but I and was able to cancel then rebook when the rewards rate dropped about a month before our stay. Given it's Hokkaido in the summer, I think the value was excellent. Will return if in the area.
