I do value status benefits such as free MCE, which my wife and I enjoyed on our recent CPH-PHL-CLT-SFO. We even received complimentary upgrades to First for CLT-SFO, an experience that we really appreciated, including the featured amaretto served by a flight attendant that I one day.hope to get reacquainted with. Given your encouragement, I see now that AA not just on Alaska miles may at times be an option, say on August 26. Alaska $186/12.5K vs AA $144/9K, especially given Alaska EQM earnings are not a factor for me the rest of the year.
