Considering the lounge was packed to the gills in the middle of the 4-5pm departure bank the experience was rather meh. I'll try it out again in mid August for the late MUC flight. If my family lets me. Such experiments are usually met with a : you want us to waste 15-20 min to try out a lounge far far away when we could just use the TK or the LH lounge???
I'm often at the airport a little early, so will go to Polaris even if flying LH group. Then over to the LH lounge to await boarding, especially when boarding from the lounge. But it won't work if you are pressed for time. I suspect that a lot of the crowding in Polaris is due to other *A business class travelers avoiding the LH and TK lounges. I was at Polaris during the early bank of flights just last week, heavy summer time usage, and it was packed but I still managed to find a place to sit. However, if you are taking the late 10pm flights, it is usually pretty empty. And definitely a good place to eat so you can board and go right to sleep.
