I booked for one night and really wondered whether to change based on some of the comments here. I decided to go with it and I'm glad I did.

I was upgraded to a suite which I found very comfortable and clean. I liked the quirkiness of the place. The chickens, the pacman, and the candy were all interesting. Nespresso machine was good. I liked the breakfast.

The area was nice. I thought it was great value. I suspect they are now responding to feedback from Hyatt customers and providing less German service where everything must be paid for and every box must be checked precisely.

I was offered and gladly accepted late check out.

The funniest thing was I purchased a solid shampoo and one of the clerks kept asking if I knew it was 9 euros ninety. Yes. Tell me you think I'm verruckt without telling me.

I checked out online. I left the key at the desk and said thanks. No, we must check you out, that doesn't work. OK. You've already taken the payment on check in. You have the key and room number and you saw me leave. Email me the receipt.

I liked the place. Would definitely go back again. It isn't the kind of place I'll forget in a week.
