I suspect though that the rattling you experienced is less to do with the 350 itself, and more to do with BA's interior fittings. Some of the CS seats are looking a bit worse for wear now, and have loose storage doors etc. Plus being at the front means you have the crew cupboard which may also cause a rattle. It's also likely that the fact that the 350 is so quiet is actually making you notice this kind of rattling more, whereas on the 777/787 it would be drowned out by all the other noise that those planes make.
My favourite seat on the BA 350 is 9A/K, as it has the best window lineup imo, and is far enough from the galley that it's basically as silent as an aeroplane could ever be (other than the snoring from other passengers), while also not last to be served.
The 350 is definitely a
much better experience than the 787, and it also has a larger width therefore the seats are noticeably bigger (in all classes). I had a 13hr flight in a 787 and I thought I was going to implode, never doing that again. The 777 is also very good, although a bit noisy.
