The Admirals Club passes are added to your AA account nearly instantly after card approval.
Just three minutes after I applied, I received an automated email from American Airlines with the subject "New Admirals Club® Citi Strata Elite℠ Passes available in your AAdvantage® wallet." The passes (individual QR codes) were indeed on my AA app then.

As an annual benefit of your Citi Strata Elite℠ card, 4 Admirals Club® Citi Strata Elite℠ Passes have been deposited in your AAdvantage® wallet.
The passes can be used by you, the Primary cardmember, and adult companions traveling with you. Each companion traveling with you that is 18 years of age or older will require one pass.
To access an Admirals Club® lounge you, or any companions traveling with you, must have a boarding pass for same-day travel on an eligible flight. Redeem your pass by scanning your boarding pass with your AAdvantage® number showing on the boarding pass or by showing the pass in your AAdvantage® wallet at the Admirals Club® front desk. For each adult companion you would like to bring into the Admirals Club® lounge with you, you will need to redeem a pass in your AAdvantage® wallet to allow them entry.

Reward rules and details
- The Primary cardmember must redeem one Admirals Club® Citi Strata Elite℠ pass to enter an Admirals Club® lounge and may redeem available passes for each accompanying adult 18 years of age or older.
- Up to 3 children under 18 years of age who are traveling with an adult who redeemed a Pass may also enter an Admirals Club® lounge.
- Admirals Club® Citi Strata Elite℠ Passes can be used at domestic and international Admirals Club® locations when you are traveling on an eligible flight. An eligible flight includes any departing or arriving flight that is marketed or operated by American, or marketed and operated by any oneworld® airline.
- Admirals Club® Citi Strata Elite℠ Passes are valid for 24 hours after activation.
- Any Admirals Club® Citi Strata Elite℠ Passes not redeemed at the end of each calendar year will be forfeited.
- Upon closure of the Citi Strata Elite℠ account for any reason, all Admirals Club® Citi Strata Elite℠ Passes not redeemed are forfeited.
