I have an upcoming SQ trip with a 35-hour layover in SIN during which I plan to spend a night in Singapore and tour the city a bit. Will I be able to check my baggage all the way through to my final destination when I check in for my first flight and so not collect it during the layover? I can easily take everything that I'll need for a one-day stay in Singapore in my carry-on, and I'd prefer to just leave my checked baggage with SQ at SIN.
