Overall yes. It was a functional room, quite run down. You are basically paying for location as its very well connected - i.e. 10 min walk to Tate - 5 to the market.
- Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked and received: Double room with 1 double bed - asked for upgrade but they were full.
- How are the rooms?
The room is quiet and points to the back street (Thrale) so noise was not an issue. Very bad iron, minor coffee and tea provided (wasn't refilled each day). Water fountains only at the lobby.
AC was good and bathroom amenities standard for Novotel.
- What was good and what was bad?
Good:
Location is great, staff was gentle and they gave us extra drinking vouchers (on top of the app ones)
Bad:
Cleaning was ok, as mentioned, they didn't replenish the amenities also some trash was left in the room and even outside the room (for several hours).
Breakfast was EXPENSIVE (over 25 euros per person) so we had outside.

Drinks yes, beer and wine that can add up for 22-25 euros.
- Value for $ or Vouchers? Would you return?
It's good value but not status acknowledge. Not sure yet if I'll return.
