*G baggage on EY issued AC ticket?
Looking to book a one way award ticket on Air Canada AC or Jazz metal issued by Etihad EY.

I have Star Alliance Gold status through Turkish Airlines TK.

Does anyone have any data points on changing an AC ticket's frequent flyer number after booking with a non *A member to get the *A benefits? Particularly the checked baggage allowance.

And then question 2, assuming that would be viable, will the baggage credit extend to my wife if we're on the same PNR (no status)?

Route is BOS-YUL if it matters.
