Yeah, that's why I wasn't "excited" by the prospects of missing my flight. I figured it would be a huge hassle to actually get any money. Like what if you miss your connection for a variety of reasons? Like matters within the airline's "control" (inbound aircraft late leaving AMS because of "ordinary" delays) are then futher impacted by, say, an ATC delay?
