but i don't think there ever will be a segregated arrival route from the east pier to arrivals - hence the proposed use of biometrics on exiting the jetbridge to allow mixing with international arrivals, then biometrics again at arrivals via an immigration by pass channel.

i understand there will be a segregated UK arrivals channel which is being done now, but that would only be from the VCC which would mean bussing only.

(edit just to add, the plan as i understand is that ba would use gates around a1/3/4 anyway which are on pier 1 which is the furthest away from arrivals)
