Presuming we're looking at the same setup as they ran during COVID (when BA ran check in from T1 but used gates in T3), the lounge is in the way of that walking route.
Once the T3 entrance is relocated to the current T1 area, the temporary Hangar Lounge will be closed, and the corridor will be reopened. All T3 lounges will then be the ones currently designated as T1 lounges.
