Any recent experience on using the Schengen lounge on arrival when connecting from a KLM flight to a Eurostar journey (to Belgium) ? (When FB Gold, Plat, Ulti or SkyTeam Elite+ Status ?)

And if my memory is right, is it true that you can scan an arrival BP at AMS regardless of connecting or not, and it will scan and go green at the automatic lounge gates ?

If so (or not), would you recommend I scan my arrival BP or my KLM/Eurostar e-BP ?

I would prefer to wait at the KL lounge with the Ulti mice, rather than at the Schiphol train station with the NS rats.
