Hello all.

I recently booked several Marriott reservations when the eShopping portal was paying 4x. I now need to change one of those reservations. Does anyone know whether changing an existing reservation invalidates the points earning? If so, it seems as if I'd be better off canceling and rebooking at the current 1x. But obviously I'd prefer to keep the 4x if that's an option!
